My job in the live chat is to make you aware of the stats inplay and the overall stats of teams.
This opens up trading angles inplay. With inplay stats I cover more matches than are covered in these daily bulletins. I would recommend for those starting out , and with live chat debutants to do the following
- focus only on matches where a favourite is under 1.4 odds. This immediately limits the number of matches and you are focussed on strong favourites who should recover from conceding first. So yesterday, Zenit St Petersburg, Dinamo Kiev, NK Maribor, Notts Forest, Debrecen and Longford would have been your 6 matches only. Far more manageable eh? And wait until I make mention of these in the live chat.
- focus only on specific teams in specific leagues. As the new season begins, perhaps choose 1 or 2 teams per league to DRT throughout the season. All of the other stats I pass on with then be peripheral to you.
- focus on a specific tactic. How about looking only for Desmond Tutu trades. There were loads yesterday. Or focus only on 0-2 /0-3 away scorelines. Of focus only on 2nd halves, or focus only on 90th+ minute trades. These again will limit the workload.

This match was 0-0 at halftime and those following me on the live chat recounted how Assyriska had 13 shots OFF target. It ended 1-1 with late late goals. And against Assyriska failing to win at home.

"Stromgodset look like they will concede at some stage." Indeed it took until the 79th minute for Odd to score" A 1-0 here

530pm - Dinamo Kiev v Olimpik Donetsk - 1.14 home
This is the problem we face with newly promoted sides. The unknown! They could be anything! Olimpik kept Kiev to 0-0. Delay, Delay, Delay to reduce risk. A very late lay at odds of 1.04 ( the draw lay) was unsuccessful
530pm - Heerenveen v Dordrecht - 1.5 home
As above we had yet another newly promoted side surprise the established Heerenveen by winning 1-2.

530pm - Shakhtar v Metalist - 1.53 home
A red card put concern over Shakhter's abilities here but on learning it was a defender who was sent off, there was a degree of confidence.
Shakhter had a 1-1 sequence to end, and it did with a 1-0 win

645pm - Cambuur v Twente - 1.84 away
Cambuur got the equaliser. Delay, delay., delay to lay Cambuur as short as you can. In the live chat I backed Twente at 75 just before they equalised. The market plumetted to 10.5 after the goal.
Are twente reliable this season when conceding first? I hope so!

7pm - Dinamo Bucharest v Targu Mures - 1.57 home
Targu are yet another newly promoted team who nearly surprised! 0-1 and layable , Dinamo Bucharest got the expected equaliser.

705pm - NK Maribor v Gorica - 1.34 home
Another straightforward DRT as Gorica scored first, and then conceded soon after. Maribor pushed on to an easy win.

745pm - Sligo Rovers v Athlone - 1.56 home
The match went with the research Sligo scored 2+ goals and 0-0 was layable after halftime, albeit the odds were a bit big. 3-1 it ended.

8pm - Lille v Metz - 1.56 home
As I said in research, we simply don't know how these newly promoted sides set up. And Metz added to the collection of surprise results from newly promoted with a 0-0.

8pm - SC Bastia v Marseille - 2.12 away
"Bastia may be layable at short odds if they score first, given their problems v the best last season home and away?" Well they scored first, and Marseille went 1-2 up soon after. bastia failed to beat a top 6 side again. A 3-3.
